Whilst other LED backup torches can be used more or less only for reading instruments, our unique combination of reflector efficiency and light power results in a multi-purpose torch.
The W40 Backup torch is extremely compact and can be powered with either AA Mignon Alkaline, NiMh or Lithium batteries.
When employed as a backup torch we recommend installing Lithium batteries, as they will maintain close to full power for 10 years so this torch will always be operational when needed.
By utilising current LED bulb technology, it has been possible to achieve very long burn times.
The W40 Backup torch is also an excellent night diving torch. This torch can be used out of the water!
