The TillyTec system is designed and built so that it is robust and durable.Tilly Tec Lighting is manufactured in Germany by the original designer of Green Force lights. All Tilly Tec modular lights are fully compatible with Green Force. There are no buttons, relays, switches or holes in the battery packs. As there are no wires to connect up or soldered fittings to break, the system really is 'fool proof'.
All of the lamps are simply turned on by rotating the head, and even if you rotate it too far the triple o-ring seals protect the head from being flooded.
For the travelling diver, our lighting system has the advantage that it can be completely disassembled and packed in the dive bag. The normally fragile lamp heads do not need to be carried as hand luggage to protect them.
The newest development is the TillyTec Lightsystem, especially the development of the new MPL battery packs.
MPL stands for Modular Power Lightsystem and is designed for unlimited modularity. It is possible now to change not only to different light heads but to different battery configurations too. The battery can be upgraded by the user to a battery pack with more capacity and power.
Replacement batteries can be fitted in seconds and it is as simple as changing the batteries in a normal alkaline battery torch. You can start out with the widely available NiMh battery and can later change to LiFe (lithium iron) without any problems.
A further development in TillyTec System is to upgrade the lightheads too. It is possible to upgrade a halogen lighthead to an LED lighthead, or an LED lighthead with less power can be upgraded to an LED lighthead with much more power.
All main lamps can be configured as handheld or umbilical, and can be changed swiftly and easily from one to the other by the user .
Tilly Tec components can be serviced and are fully guaranteed for 24 months. The Warp 10 is guaranteed for 10 years!!!
