2.2lb Bruce Anchor for Kayaks and Canoes, Yak Gear

SPECS::

Costal anchoring can be tough with anything other than the Yak Gear 2.2lb (1kg) Bruce Anchor.  This 2.2lb (1kg) galvanized steel plow anchor is the preferred anchor choice for coastal and beyond the breakers fishermen.  The plow shaped design allows the anchor to dig easily into soft and marshy bottoms, where a grapnel anchor would otherwise get stuck.  “Rock Rig” and “Add a Rope” capabilities are recommended, but not included.

Note* – It is recommended to use at least 3 times the depth of water as the length of your anchor rope in calm waters and 4 to 5 times the depth of the water in choppy waters or windy conditions.
