To use all the energy in the best way MUSTANG 3 apply the force of the blade from under the metatarsus, the naturally ideal force point. Much force naturally applied and by the least effort, this is the real MUSTANG 3 core system. Energy produced by our muscles is so fully discharged on the 100% carbon fibre Megaforce T700 blade, through the anatomical and adjustable footpockets, available in 5 different sizes.
Thanks to anatomical footpockets, the energy wastes for unwished gaps between foot and footpockets, is the least possible. Efficiency has to be looked for if you wish the best and anatomical footpockets are the best solution to reach it. More than twenty years of studies, records and experience result in MUSTANG 3 blades’ flexion with the double parabolic curvature system. The D.P.C. (Double Parabolic Curve) is reached by a wise lamination of carbon layers opportunely measured and placed.
The curve D.P.C. optimises blades’ flexion and water amounts worked time by time according to the water rails V.G.R. (Variable Geometry Rails) depending upon the availability of power produced by the match of our muscles with articulations. Also the ending flap improves the detachment of fluid stripes from the blade reducing damaging whirlpools just in the sections of highest fluid speed. Its special shape avoid easier contacts with sea floor. Blades with flap and therefore without edges, have a less encumber and a less impact on the sea floor during upset movements required by spearfishing actions. In MUSTANG 3 everything is useful for the best working, as the new design water rails VGR and the ending flap, resulting from years of refinement. The elements are perfectly integrated into the essential design of MUSTANG 3 where everything talks about performances. The fins produce push accelerating water from the foot to fins’ top. The VGR water rails, with progressive hydrodynamic shaping, patent C4, allow the fins working the right water amount section by section. Water’ speed on the blade changes section by section, so requiring progressively changing containment volumes. This is exactly what the exclusive and patented VGRs do. MUSTANG 3s have intentionally symmetric blades, for the decidedly better mechanical and hydrodynamic efficiency of this solution without the energy dispersions and the major mechanical solicitations of flex-torsion typical of a potential shape asymmetry. Less useless solicitations guarantee a long-life.
Asymmetry is attended where it can express itself in the best way, that means in the anatomic shoes. The use of rare carbon fibre Megaforce T700, 40% more resistant than standards, makes MUSTANG 3s absolutely reliable fins.
MUSTANG 3 blades are connected to the footpockets through a special two screws junction, for a better mechanical seal and whole energy transmission. If necessary for transport MUSTANG 3 can easy be dismantled, reducing bulk and with it the main reason of damage for instance in air transports.
