SPECS::

The SCUBA2MED2 enables you to use oxygen prepared cylinders, cylinder valves and first stages to deliver oxygen ONLY at a fixed flow rate.

SCUBA2MED2 – SCUBA to Medical O2 – Adaptor & Flow Restrictor

Delivers gas at nominal flow rates of 6.7 to 8.9 LPM (STP), depending on inter-stage pressure.

Designed specifically to feed oxygen to medical masks at a fixed flow rate for supplemental oxygen use.

Simply screws into the medium pressure port of a diving regulator’s 1st stage
3/8” UNF thread
Suitable for 6mm bore tubing (mask and tubing not supplied)
Oxygen compatible and oxygen clean

Medical 1st aid oxygen kits incorporate a regulator with an adjustable flow to allow flow rates normally from 3 LPM to 20 LPM, depending on the requirements of patients.

It is intended for use by Nitrox and Trimix qualified divers for Emergency Oxygen delivery when there is no alternative.

Nominal Flow rate of 8.8 LPM (STP) with a 9.5 bar Interstage Pressure.
Nominal Flow rate of 6.8 LPM (STP) with a 7.5 bar Interstage Pressure.
These rates were determined to be a reasonable compromise for field applications, effectiveness and gas duration based on advice from GPs, an air ambulance doctor and an anaesthetist.
