This 3.3lb (1.5 kg) galvanized steel anchor features four 6-inch tines that fold out of the way while stored for space maximization and release when ready for use. The heavy head design of the anchor creates less wait time until the anchor is fully submerged into the anchoring surface on deeper and faster moving water. “Rock Rig” and “Add a Rope” capabilities are included in the complete kit, along with 30 feet of 3/16 inch black nylon anchor rope and a blue storage ditty bag. When anchoring always use at least three times the depth of the water for your anchor rope length.

      I ran across this small, kayak anchor on a blog and thought it may be too light to hold my kayak. Turns out the anchor works just great for keeping me put in the local lake and in the bay systems. Who would have known…
