Training programs were just starting and underwater hunting was popular. Used at the time, 2 hose regulators were the norm for the time.
This “Deep Sea Adventure” video adds some dramatic narration, and profiles some of the equipment used for the time period. This emerging sport was offered to those daring and adventurous enough to try it, and of course brought Sea Hunt to television.
