ANCIENT CAVES brings together science and adventure, as paleoclimatologist Dr. Gina Moseley follows on a mission to unlock the secrets of the Earth’s climate in the most improbable places: caves.

Moseley and her cave explorer team are travelling the world discovering vast underground worlds in search of stalagmite fossils-geological “fingerprints”-revealing information about the climate history of the planet. A quest takes them to some of the most remote caves in the world, both above and below the sea, in France, Greenland, the Bahamas, the U.S. and the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, where they research how quickly the climate of the Earth can change and how it has influenced human civilization.

We go together where very few people ever go, showing the extraordinary lengths scientists go to research the unknown.
